Burning MP3/WMA tracks to CD

OK, my new Sony Car Radio/CD player can play mp3 & wma.
But how do i burn to mp3 or wma?
What software do i need if any??
 
My head unit also plays mp3's, Just use windows to burn the files, thats all i do. You could use Nero, but if explorer works and you dont have it...... :)

Complete duffer when it comes to this.:o
I'm fine burning disc to disc, but not with WMA.
 
Now all sorted out, burnt as a data disc all music from my music in total 698MB onto a CD-R disc.
