Burning Movie to DVD

I know that this has been asked before...but I still can't seem to get it to
work. When I save my movie (avi mode) I can't get it to burn with my Nero
Express. When I open Nero Express I click (What would you like to burn?)
DVD-Video Files. But when I get to the "Add video page" and click "Add", it
wants bup, .vob, .ifo files. When I click "all files" and try to add the avi
movie, it gives me a "no compatible file found" error. What am I doing wrong?

I also have muvee aP 5.0 but I haven't tried using it.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Sounds like you have the wrong
program...

Nero Express is not compatible...
if you have the full version of Nero
you should have...NeroVision Express...
similar name...different program...it
will work with .avi or.wmv files.

Maybe the following article will offer
some ideas:

It's Nero Express 6

Which program do you suggest? Obviously...I need something simple!! LOL
Thanks so much!

I use Nero 7 premium and part of it is Nero Vision 4.
Vision converts the AVI file to be compatable with a dvd (Encoding..I
think). It can also be used to make movies just like movie maker but is not
as user friendly.
You need to select vision and import the file into the make a dvd section of
the prog.
Then you can create titles, chapters...etc. and finally burn to dvd.

As Mark said Nero 7 comes with Nero Vision Express 4
Nero 6 comes with Nero Vision Express 3 but Nero Express 6 is a package that
usually comes wrapped with a DVD burner or a computer with a DVD burner
already installed. In most cases this does not include Nero Vision Express
which, as John said, is not the same thing as Nero Express.
You could spend the money and upgrade your Nero to Nero Premium 7 which will
include NVE4 so you can create DVD movies. In fact I recommend Nero 7 to
anybody that has a DVD burner because it offers so many different things you
can do with a DVD. Or you could download the trial version of another DVD
Authoring program such as Ulead Movie Factory. With the trial download of
UMF you can create your DVD Movie. For information about Nero, UMF, and some
other programs available check out the DVD Creation section of my website.
