I am trying to burn dvd's but they will play on lap top but not on dvd
player. I have tried both Nero and dvd decriptor with the same result other
than a couple that work ,but it is unexplainable to me why they worked and
most don't.
Is it the format the files are in or is there a glitch on my computer .

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using NeroVision?

What is the duration and format of the files
you are trying to burn on a Video DVD?

I am using Nero 7 ultra edition and have tried both smart start and Nero
burning rom ,
the files are in different formats , some are AVI files, some are video - ts
files and others are DVD files.
I have also tried DVD shrink and DVD decriptor and I get messages saying
the system cannot find the file specified..
I am not sure if I should be trying to change format or if there is a
glitch in my system.

If you are using Nero to burn a Video DVD that
will play on a free standing DVD player you need
to use "NeroVision". If you have the full retail
boxed version of Nero...you should have it.
