I have a Windows XP home edition computer which is about 3 1/2 months old,
and i am now ready to start burning DVD's, but i don't know how.

Can someone help me out on how to do this, it would be very helpful.

Thank you

XP cant burn DVD. You can use free CDBurnerXP Pro :
Info :http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CDBurnerXP_Pro
HP : http://www.cdburnerxp.se/

OR most DVD/CD drives come with the software to burn DVDs Or CDs. Look in the
CD/DVD that came with your DVD drive.

You may want to buy a CD-RW which is rewritable over and over.
It is a good method to practice on.
Click | Start | All Programs | and open your CD burner software that came
with your PC's CD Burner like Nero or Roxio or Sonic.

Or create a slide show with music and publish to You Tube and also burn to a
CD.

Are these movies about Katrina too sad? Should I delete them?

They are on three Video websites;
1) You Tube Video
2) Google Video
3) MSN Soapbox Video

You will undoubtedly have to buy a DVD-RW drive. It should come with
software to burn DVDs. WinXP does not have any native ability to burn DVDs.
