I've copied a DVD from disk to my hard drive and I now have two folders
on my PC - AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS. I now want to copy these files to DVD
so that I can watch them on a standard DVD player.

I have been told that Nero (v7) can do this but I don't know which
option to use to burn a DVD using Nero. Can anyone advise me? Thanks.

I've never used v7 but under v6 I use Nero Recode to do the job.

What have you tried so far?

I don't pay much attention when I use nero anymore, but it's
something like DVDi-Video as the new compilation, at which
point Nero creates the audio and video folders for you. So
you then proceed to drag the files from the folders you have
into the virtual folders nero is showing.

Nero version 6 will do just fine (and possibly Nero 5. It's been a while.)
Nero Recode isn't required either.

Open Nero Burning Rom, and under the DVD menu, select "DVD Video", then click
"New". Two default folders are created, ready for burning. Ignore AUDIO_TS,
as this is usually empty. Copy the contents of the VIDEO_TS on the right, to
the VIDEO_TS folder in Nero composition on the left. Hit burn, and away you
go.
