Burning CD's error

I have 6 programs to burn with but none work. The first
burner I had worked great for about a year then quit.
Medium errors all the time. Bought a new burner and
burned 5 cds with no problems. Now the errors are back.
error number is C00D11AB. I get this error with all
programs including media player 9. Anyone with any help
would be appreciated.
 
You have too many programs installed to try to burn CD's. CD burning
software's can have interactions with each other if all installed at the
same time.
