I have a folder within my Outlook Express, it contains
data and pictures. I would like to burn this entire
folder onto a CD. I am not sure how to do this.

Please help!

Thank you.

Do a search for files called *.dbx (If you are using W2K or Windows XP
you will have to enable Hidden and System Files and Folders in your
search - go to Advanced). Then copy the required file to your CD. Bear
in mind that if you want to import this file to OE subsequently, you
will also need to have copied the file called Folders.dbx otherwise OE
will not recognise your saved files as a message store and will not be
able to import them.

BTW, FYI this group is actually for the support of Outlook 97, 98, 2000
and 2002, NOT Outlook Express, which, although similarly named, is a
completely different program.

For OE6 support, add the news server msnews.microsoft.com to your copy
of OE and go to microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress
