Burning 4 Hour Recorded TV Show to DVD

I was attempting to burn a four hour recorded television program to DVD using
Media Center. Since it was such a long recording, a message appeared that
asked if I wanted to reduce the quality so that the recording would fit on
the disk. I replied yes, but then a message appeared that indicated that
file was too big. Is there any way to copy a file of this size to DVD?

With a third party application, yes, but I don't think the native burning
ability of MCE will be able to cope. Look to something like WinDVD Creator
v3 (www.intervideo.com) which can compress that much.

Google DVDShrink to see if that will work. It is a free program.

DVD Shrink will work but you may not be happy with the results. 4 hours on a
single DVD is a lot.
Do your burner support Dual Layered DVD's?
