Made a moive using still images and music with the movie maker. It is quite a
long movie (10 minutes or so) with 3 songs. Saved the movie to my HD and
burned the move to a DVD using Nero. Put the DVD into the player and all was
fine with the DVD untill the start of the second song. The screen went black
and no images were seen, but the music was playing. Can someone please
explain what I did wrong if anything?

Thank you

Sorry I can't answer your ? but, i was wondering how you go it into NERO. i
have been pulling my hair out for 4 days trying to do that. i know you said
you saved it to your HD but as what type of file? or how did you burn it in
NERO?

Just wondering.....

Did you try saving as DV-AVI and using
NeroVision Express to burn the disk?

How do I save my movie as a
DV-AVI file in Movie Maker?

Yes I have tried that. NERO Fails in the last stage of burning every time :(
and it takes over 20 minutes for a 5 minute video.... but the link to that
website you sent me is great!!! Still having troubless though, i just can't
get it to work. Nothing will burn out of NERO Or Windows MM for me. I even
returned my new driver & got another one to see if that was the problem and
it still won't work. I appreciate your help, any other tis would be greatly
appreciated

I guess I'm confused....you began by asking:
"i was wondering how you go it into NERO"

Now you state: "Yes I have tried that. NERO
Fails in the last stage of burning every time :( "

So apparently you *can/did* use NeroVision
Express?

Maybe a complete description of your steps,
the formats of your source files and the full
names/versions of the programs you are using
to create this project would help someone
offer some additional suggestions.

Here are some more links...maybe they will
be useful:

I'm confused as to whom your asking the question to, but for me when it
comes to this sort of stuff........confused is my middle name :-) Well,
until I finally figure out what I am doing that is.

I don't remember what I saved it under and can't figure it out either, but
if you can explain to me how to find out I will give it my best shot. Is
there anyway I can resave the file to the correct format?

I believe I tried burning the DVS inNero Express 6 and not NeroVision
Express 3, but not 100% certain.

Just for fun I ran the movie in NeroVision Express 3 and the same thing
happened. The pictues stopped showing up after the first audio track and the
music continued. I must be doing something wrong in either the way I did the
movie or the way I am trying to burn the DVD, but I can't quite figure it out.

Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

The WinAVI video converter can do what you want.it can convert, can
burn. The most important,it has very high quality and fast speed.
The interface of WinAVI Video Converter has been designed to be
user-friendly and can be easily operated by anyone. All a user needs to
do is click on the menu and all the options of the program are
available to you.

Just wanted you to know that I did indeed finally get my 10 minute still
imaged movie burned to a DVD and it came out great.

Once I saved the file as a DV-AVI, Nero VisionExpress had no problem burning
the DVD. With that tid bit of info (saving the file as a DV-AVI) I thank
you, John Inzer for all your help in this matter.

Now think you can help me with yet another one? I just installed a firewire
card to capture video from my camcorder. (Yes I have and know how to captured
video)

Now that I have still images down to a science (with your help :-) ) I was
going to try my hand at doing a movie with video clips. I was wondering if
there is a way I can I categorize video clips into folders without having to
capture the video in that order? Example an age group...from 5 years old to
10 years old and so on and so forth.

Movie Maker HELP hasn't been much help to me in how to edit video clips. I
tried to combine some clips into one via the HELP, but I haven't had much
luck.

Thanks in advance for any HELP in this matter.

I think some of the more experienced
contributors will have to help with this
one.
