Burned CD isn't recognized

Burned CD from movie maker and file/movie from HD, both were completed with
no errors. Neither appear on the cd via my computer. What am I missing here?
 
Nothing really.
If you right click on the CD in "My Computer" and select properties does it
say you have a blank CD?

This is the 2nd time this week that this issue has come up and I have never
heard of it happening before, at least not when it actually appears to
complete the task, and the only things I can think of is to check the
manufacturer for an updated driver for the burner or that the burner is
possibly bad.
It is a waste of a CD but if it were happening on my system I would try
dragging and dropping some files to the burner using Windows Explorer and
the Windows XP CD Burning Wizard to see if that works or not.
