Linda

I created a movie with scanned still photos etc, using
Microsoft Moviemaker 2. I do not have DVD burner. I would
like to create a DVD of this movie, but am unsure how to
do this or what I need in order to do this.

Can you please help me???

Thanks.

Linda,

Well -- a couple of avenues...

1) Buy a DVD burner and install in your machine.
2) Think VCD (assuming you have a CD burner installed) and read on

good luck!

Linda,

Windows Movie Maker 2 will not burn to a DVD. You will first have to burn to a CD, then, using some other movie making software or DVD burning software transfer from your CD to a DVD. In other words, Microsoft has goofed in not making DVD burning possible.

The big problem is that if your movie is too large to fit on a single CD, you will have to break it up into several parts to make CDs.

I have just run into this problem myself, and came here looking for a solution.

Artist,

There is no need to burn to a CD first, if the ultimate
goal is to burn to a DVD. So there is no need to break
up the movie into several parts to do that.

In Movie Maker, save the movie to your hard drive. Then
use third-party DVD Authoring software to import the movie,
and burn it to a DVD.
