bullets cut off on left side

On one of my presentations, the left side of the bullets
is cut off. A circle becomes a semicircle, a square
becomes a vertical rectangle, etc. What is wrong How do
I fix it?

What font is used for the bullets, and is that font actually installed on your
computer?
