bulleted outline list problem

So I have an bullet based outline list as a style. However, I have two
problems I cannot seem to fix.

1. when using the indent key, the entire list, not the line selected is
indented
2. when dealing with list A and indenting, list B will take the 2nd/3rd
indent components and transform them to normal style (no bullets).

Also, anybody know of a nice tutorial concerning widow/orphan and keep with
next
(when to use, what each actually does, etc)

Make sure to set up bullets with a separate paragraph style for each
level, as described at
http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/bullets/controlbullets.html. In the
Customize Outline Numbered List dialog box, set the desired indents
for each level.

Then you can use Alt+Shift+Left/Right arrow to change numbering
levels/styles. You should be able to use Tab/Shift+Tab, too, if you
make sure to enable the relevant one of the following options: Tools |
Options, Edit tab: "Tabs and backspace set left indent" (Word 97/2000)
or Tools | AutoCorrect, AutoFormat As You Type tab: "Set first and
left indent with tabs and backspaces" (Word 2002 or later).

Keep with next: Prevents a page break between the selected paragraph
and the following paragraph. [Word 2000 Help]

Widow/Orphan control: Prevents Word from printing the last line of a
paragraph by itself at the top of a page (widow) or the first line of
a paragraph by itself at the bottom of a page (orphan). [Word 2000
Help]
