Hi,

I have set up my bullet points to fade in (1st one 'on previous event'
remaining points on same page 'on click') This all works fine on my first
page - none of the bullet points are present at all (except the automatic
first one) and they appear from nothing to black as they should one by one
when I click.

Slide two and the remaining slides however have all of the bullet points and
sentences present on screen in light grey. When I click they then solidify
into black (this solidify to black part is obviously correct). How do I
prevent the words from appearing in light grey until they are needed - I dont
want my viewers reading forward, apart from my 'on previous event' first
bullet point the rest of the screen should be blank until I click for the
second/third/fourth etc bullet point.

Thanks,
Matt

Is it possible the later slides were prepared in 2003 or earlier and are
being played in 2007?

If so check there is no shape shadow attached to the text placeholder.

Hi John,

Thanks very much for the advice. The presentation is brand new in PPT2007 so
it wasn't your first idea but your advice did point me in the right direction
- I had somehow managed to attach a shadow effect to the text box and the
text itself. I pressume the light grey wording I could see was the shadow for
the text box.

Thanks very much, really appreciate the help.

Kind regards,
Matt
