bullet-list error in PowerPoint 2007

After having used PowerPoint 2007 for a couple of days suddenly the bullet
lists is not working correctly. For most of the lists the bullets just
dissapeared, and when looking in the list of all bullets (create now bullet
list) almost all chioces are blank. Even the "No list" option is almost
invicible (I only see the buttom half of the word).

I tried to reinstall Office2007 but that didn´t work, and then I tried to
delete my profile on the cumputer and that worked. The problem is that it
only worked for a day and now the problem is back!

Anyone have some ideas what the problem could be? (I´m using a brand new
Thinkpad X60 with Windows XP)

Did you change the design colors? You might have changed the color, which
PowerPoint uses for bullets, to white or another light shade. If you change
the bullet color at the bottom of the bullet dialog box, are the bullets in
the bullet gallery visible again?

Best regards,
Ute

Yes I have changed the colors but with no effect. Yesterday I also noticed
that with some fonts the text, regardless if I use bullet-lists or not, is
superscript almost a whole line - very strange. As I wrote earlier I have a
brand new Thinkpad and have done no special settings or suspicius programs
installed. I´m using Swedish XP and Office.

At www.dellham.se/powerpoint.htm there is a picture that illustrates the
problem.

Any input or suggestion would be helpful.

I finally solvet it! It was the printerdriver the was not compatible with
Office 2007. After installing a MS driver PowerPoint was back to normal
again. Thanks to the FAQ at www.pptfaq.com.

Good news! Thanks for letting us know what worked. And thanks to Echo also ...
most of that FAQ is her doing.
