Bulk Tagging in Vista?

Is there any way to add a tag to multiple files at once? I have over
a thousand pictures that I migrated over without tags, and it would
make the process very simple if I could select entire folders to tag,
but I can't figure out if it's even possible.

Yes, select the files you want to tag and type in the tag in the Details
pane at the bottom of the Explorer windows. To turn on the Details pane
click Organize | Layout
