any f/w to convert many word docs to txt format?

The purpose is to compare files to detect plagiarism.
Files can be easily compared in txt mode.

Here is a Python script & a VBScript script to convert a Word .doc to plain
text: <http://www.brunningonline.net/simon/blog/archives/001299.html>
(MS Word must be installed for this to work.)

Making a batch file that calls one of these for every file in a directory
shouldn't be too difficult...
