built-in functions not working

I have an application that on 1 pc has stopped working due
the the built in funtions not working. Even the Date()
funtion is not recognized. The PC is running Windows 98
and I have removed and reloaded Microsoft Office. I have
3 identical pc's but only one has this problem. does
anyoe know what I can do?

Often when databases don't work on one particular machine, it's because
of a broken or missing reference. See if the steps outlined here help:
