Build 5365

Now if Microsoft would just give us MSDN Tester's Build 5365, I would be a
whole lot happier with them (because Build 5308 CTP is really horrible
big-time).

Just think Kevin, in about a month, you will have a new build called Beta 2.
That sure makes me happy.

Applied but still waiting to be accepted for the Vista Beta Testing group.
Can't wait to be able to play and help make it even better.

That is if it is not Delayed even further (Beta 2 was Originally Supposed to
be Released on December 7th, 2005, it then got Delayed to Febuary 15th,
2006, then April 12th, 2006, and now May 24th, 2006).

Keep your fingers crossed it isn't. I know that it can be a pain, but just
think of the rest of us that can't afford to purchase MSDN or Technet
subscriptions that would love to give the Vista betas a try. Until it is, I
will settle for looking at newsgroups and the different web sites with Vista
information.

The only way that I was able to afford my MSDN Operating System Level
Subscription Renewal this year, was my Federal Income Tax Refund from the
2005 Tax Year.

Pppftt, taxes.. there's only two things certain in life.. death, and taxes.
Still, you should have just stuck on the beta mate.

Why would anyone drop out of the beta program?????

Why would anyone drop out of the beta program?????

I'm sure there are many reasons. I may drop out of the program myself
because of insufficient time to do much testing.

I can understand droping out of the beta program if you don't have the time
to put forth effort to making the product even better. However, knowingly
joined MSDN or a TechNet subscription at a later time knowing you may only
get certain beta versions of the software, would you complain that the
accual beta testers got more up to date betas?

You should of seen the ranting in the x64 group when he wasn't the first one
picked for the Vista beta.

You might recall the group invented in the 1960s by Al Capp in his
comic strip Lil' Abner called S.W.I.N.E. which was Students Wildly
Indignant about Nearly Everything?

Somehow I think of that when I read posts from the person we're
talking about.
