Installed easy enough into XP PRO SP2. Easy interface,
works ok so far. Only quirk about 8 things in the
registry showed up. I show to remove which was the
recommended thing. It went through and removed them. Did
a scan and they showed back up. Went through the process
once more. Same thing. 3rd time i scanned but didnt
remove i just found the locations and deleted them
myself. upon new scan they were gone. Hope this gets
fixed with the new one. Not too much of an inconvenience
as im certified on several levels and completely computer
literate. however your average joe smoe would have a very
difficult time and would probably due more harm than good
when they went running through the registry.
 
Restart your computer in safe mode, on the scan page in MSAS, choose Scan
Options > Full System Scan.
 
Thanks - It might be useful to have a list of the registry locations, and
the name of the threat they were associated with. Some of that information
might be in the logs of the scans, or in the cleaner.log file in the
installation folder.
