Are better for what?

Microsoft reads the posts here, and encourages users to

< Spybot and Ad Aware are better>
In the Beta1 version, the program doesn't go into the cookie jar, nor does
it chase data miner objects. If that's what you are making your
determination from, it's a tad thin.

Do you run the paid version of Ad-aware that provides active protection?
That's a major piece of the protection Microsoft Antispyware is providing.

Specifics will add value to your posts since Microsoft reads and take
appropriate action to these posts.
You have said nothing other than "Buggy" which is as good as saying nothing
at all.

Yes but it still does not catch half the stuff that
adaware and spybot do. And also, isnt it suppose to
prevent pop ups as well or is that another add-on?

At present, by design, it doesn't scan for cookies.

No--it isn'd designed as a popup stopper. However, many popups are
generated by spyware, so they may be a symptom of spyware that your
available protection has missed.

I saw a couple of pop-unders just the other day--first I had seen in a good
while. I'm satisfied that they didn't originate with spyware, but
unfortunately they were likely associated with a site I'd posted a URL to
here.
