Buggy Microsoft code!!!

I looked in here to get some help for (a) problem(s) I'm
having with windows Movie Maker, I can't in any way
convert this stupid ".MSWMM" file format to anything:
Mpeg, Avi, CD, DVD, anything! The WMM save wizard either
crashes my system or asks me to wait 35million minutes
until my file is done. I've got a brand new computer with
a 2.6 gig processor, and a huge hard drive, loaded with
video stuff, it should work fine, but it doesn't. I don't
have 91 years to wait for a slideshow of baby pictures.

But then I see all these requests for help from others
with no response from anyone, let alone microsoft.
One would figure if they continue to flood the market with
these buggy programs, they's have some kind of accessible
tech support, especially for us PAYING CUSTOMERS! They
should have their expert coders regularly check these
newsgroups and forums and offer help to their perplexed
and frustrated customers.
 
Just out of interest, is your new PC branded (with the "Designed for Windows
XP sticker on the front) or a clone (most likely without said sticker)?

word of advice for you (advice I should've taken) buy an
APPLE! Windows sucks for anything except surfing the
internet.
