Buggy Fog in FS9 (2004)

I have noticed that since I tried to update a video driver (ATI Radeon)
that when visibility is reduced to a low setting (fog) in MS FlightSim
2004, the ground remains clearly visible and that trees and buldings can
be see but are white. This was not a problem before I tried to update
my video driver.

I have since tried -
uninstalling the ATI driver and re-installing the old driver
uninstalling and reinstalling FS9
adding TableFog=0 to FS9.cfg
installing the fog patch from FltSim Manager
installing the 9.1 patch

Can anyone suggest a simple fix?

Thanks
SS

Uninstall the ATI driver and try the driver remover to completely remove all
traces, then install the Omega drivers. I can't say it will work, but that's
what I'd be doing at this point.
