ive had this problem for a while now and i dont seem any
closer to getting it sorted!! whilst doing a virus check
(using norton internet security pro 2003), xp quit and
gave me the following error message:-

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck
was: 0x0000000a (0x00000004, 0x00000002, 0x00000001,
0x804f50b0). A dump was saved in:
C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini111703-01.dmp.

i have also had a similar 'bugcheck' error a few times
whilst using IE6. i have the latest drivers for all my
hardware and there is no spyware on my PC.

can someone please help...im very close to giving up on
my PC!!

For Stop Messages like this, start here: http://aumha.org/win5/a/kbestop.htm

0x0A is a pretty common error message. It is typically due to a bad driver,
or faulty or incompatible hardware or software. Use the General
Troubleshooting of STOP Messages checklist at the top of the page listed
above. Technically, this error condition means that a kernel-mode process or
driver tried to access a memory location to which it did not have
permission, or at a kernel Interrupt ReQuest Level (IRQL) that was too high.
(A kernel-mode process can access only other processes that have an IRQL
lower than, or equal to, its own.)

The link I gave you also has many articles addressing this problem in
particular situations.
