Using the Real-Time protection it didn't seem to be
flagging anything. Then I realised it actually was, but
it was doing so with a window that flew past on the right
hand side of the screen and didn't stop.. I'm not sure
what the window says, and I can't see any way of stopping
it. Also, not sure what details to include with this "bug
report"

Microsoft AntiSpyware Version: 1.0.501

I've just become interested in what's happening here, and
tried to catch things.. As a result I've managed
to "grab" the offending window on it's way past. Things
I've established.

1/ The window is indeed an "allow/block" requestor for the
attempt at running a .bat file.

2/ It tries to fly "north" for a number of seconds and
then gives up and lets me place it wherever I like
(assuming I've grabbed the titlebar on the way past!)

3/ It's not actually closing as far as I can tell, my
process list is showing a number of requestors called
gcasServAlert.exe which I think are windows that "got away"

This is a frequently reported bug noted in the FAQ for this group--if you
move your taskbar to the bottom of the window, the alerts will be more
usable!

Ahh, thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, using MS's news
interface doesn't give enough history to include a FAQ
posting. Thanks for the reply, I guess I'll have to wait
till the next revision to fix this as I'm very attached to
a left hand toolbar!

They've said there will be a further beta release, and this bug has been
very visible--I'd expect to see change.
