Hi,

I have a report which I created using wizard. After that I made changes to
my table (deleted one field called "No" - which served only for 1,2,3..
purpose).

In my report I assinged the value "=1" to the control source of the
corresponding text-box, and selected Running Sum = Over Group. This works all
right, gives me all 1,2,3... I need, but the problem is: every time I open
the report the pop up window asks to Enter the parameter value "No". (And my
report still works despite if I enter anything into that window or not.)

I tried to rename the old text-box and it's label, tried to delete it and
create new one, but the window still pops up. How can I get rid of it?

Can anybody help?

Thank you.
Lana

Open the report in design view.
Open the Sorting'n'Grouping box (View menu).
Is your NO field listed there?

If not, examine the Properties of the report, and see if it is in the Filter
or OrderBy properties.

If that stil does not work, uncheck the Name AutoCorrect boxes under:
Tools | Options | General
Then compact the database, and try again. For an explanation of why, see:

Thank you Allen!

I have found the "No" listed in the Sorting'n'Grouping box as you predicted.
I have deleted it from there and now everything works fine!

Thank you so much!!
