The notices of potentially harmful events that appear in a
small square box will just fly vertically accross the
screen when the taskbar is positioned to the side of the
screen. I haven't tested it in other locations, but this
is defintely an issue to fix since you never get to respond
to warnings. It moves so fast you cannot even read it. To
fix the issue, you must move your taskbar back to the
bottom of the screen. Then the warnings will appear and
stay on the screen until you respond. This is definitely
an issue to fix since Longhorn by default puts the taskbar
on the right hand side. But that is a long time away.
Anyway, for people like with widescreens, it would be great
if we could keep our taskbar positioned vertically to the
right or left instead of horizontally on the bottom and
still have the program work correctly. Thanks.
