BUG: Scheduled scan runs twice (both at same time)

I have a scheduled scan to run daily at 11:45 am. When
the scan completes I have two "Scan Summary" report
dialog boxes open on my desktop. I also see two
instances of GIANTAntiSpywareMain.exe in my task list.
Environment: XPSP1 on Compaq Evo N610c laptop.

Needless to say: the machine really slows to a crawl with
two simultaneous scans operating!

Are you talking about GIANTAntiSpyware in Task Manager? That is just a
cosmetic bug and will be fixed in future updates.

Thanks for adding yet another to the list of scheduler bugs.

Have you tried to "fix" this?

I guess I would try turning off scheduled scans, and then re-trying, maybe
for 11:50 am, or something similar.

Any idea how it got the idea to do this? <G>
