Dick

My partner and I use a simple VOIP program called Open
Phone. (Info at www.openh323.org).

I have an icon on my task bar that executes a .bat file
that executes ohphone.exe. Every time I click that icon,
MS AntiSpyware displays a dialog that scrolls up the left
edge of my screen so rapidly I can't read it, and ohphone
does not start.

If I shut down MS AntiSpyware, then click on the icon, Open
Phone starts normally. I can then restart MS AntiSpyware,
and it runs normally.

I know this is an Open Source program and not your problem.
But, the fact that the dialog scrolls so it is unreadable
is your problem.

Dick.

Indeed it is--this is a bug.

If you have the taskbar set at the left or right edge of the screen, this
behavior occurrs. With the taskbar at the top or the bottom, it does not.

So--you may want to try running with the taskbar at the bottom (or top!) for
long enough to answer that prompt and perhaps get that answer remembed so
that it doesn't recur.
