Yes, I tried rebooting several times.
In fact, when I click on <About>, I read:

"Spyware Definition Version: 5721".

However, when I go back and <Check for updates>,
the auto-updater doesn't tell me my software
is up to date. It continually tells me it
has to update from Definitions 5719 to
Definitions 5721. It then downloads 5721
and installs it again. And so it goes, on
and on.

Andre--have you actually done this and verified what is included in the
download?

The page states that it includes 5687--it is unchanged since February 16th.

Yes, I have did Bill, in March I had a similar issue, its shows that as the
number, but I think it really does have the latest defs.

OK--thanks. I thought that I had tested this myself a few weeks back.

I'll try to check it again.

smarty pants , I'm going to do just that .
I say I don't know why but I just love the Microsoft
AntiSpyware program...................being free ,, no
not only because it's free but because of all the great
and easy to tools in it even though I know so little
about computing or even using Microsoft AntiSpyware
Beta1 , and my name is not bill .

Andre - I tested this today--on a brand new machine which had never had
Microsoft Antispyware installed, I downloaded and checked the version of the
definitions: 5687.
