Hi,
Recently I tried to export a PPT2007 presentation to a PDF. The export (save
as) failed with the message "An error occured while PowerPoint was saving the
file."
I played a bit with the presentation and found out that the error appears
only if I have a straight arrow connector with a shadow (60% transparent,
100% size, 4pt blur, 90%angle, 3pt distance).
Can anyone reproduce the error? It is really anoyng to have to change the
whole presentation because of such a bug.

Thank you,
Stefan

I can't reproduce this but I'm not sure what you mean by a straight arrow
connector. I've tried with both plain arrows and an elbow-arrow connector, but
don't see one called straight arrow. In case I'm missing the obvious, tell me
what row and column you found this on under Insert, Shapes. Thanks.

Also, I'm starting with the default blank slide master. Can you reproduce it on
that as well or is it possibly something to do with the master/background you're
using?

Hi,
I can not reproduce it anymore as well. However, I do have the old slide
where this still happens and I can send it to you if you are interested.

Greetings,
Stefan

Sure, shoot it along as long as the file's not too big (over a meg or two).
Copy our exchange here into the body of the email and attach the file.
