Steps to reproduce:

1. Open new appointment Invite.

2. On scheduling tab, Schedule an appointment with a
resource (i.e. put the attendee resource in
the "Resources" box);

3. Select the appointment tab... and confirm that the
resource shows up as a resource and in the location tab,
as designed.

4. Add another attendee. The resource changes status to
a regular attendee and the location field clears!!

Very frustrating.

I just tried this on my Office XP machine and am unable to reproduce the
behavior. My resource remains a resource.

Have you tried running Detect and Repair? Do you have any custom forms for
meetings or appoiontments?
