The programmer who worked on the date functions made some mistakes, in not
considering alternate date formats in Windows.
You may be at some risk.
If the date format for your locale is set to other than the default, which I
believe is the first choice in the drop-down menu, there are a number of
possibilities:
1) the program may refuse to run because it believes it is beyond the
expiration date.
2) the expiration date may arrive at an unexpected time. For at least one
user, it was within the last two weeks.
3) you may see what you are seeing!
