Bug in Beta - Update while Scanning

Not sure if this has been posted yet or not. Found a bug
whilst installing this onto a clients computer today. If
you try and do an update doing a scan (it does let you do
this), the machine locks up. I imagine the signature
engine is trying to get updated & queried at the same
time. I assume it should download the update and schedule
the update for after the scan?
 
Can you say which version was in place when this happened? .501 or .509??

I've seen updates during a scan myself under .501 that worked properly,
although of course they didn't leave me with the warm fuzzies about how
effective the scan had been.
