I am using Microsoft Outlook 2003 as a calendar application, I use another
application (Thunderbird) as my default email client. Every time I boot
Outlook, it takes over as default email client, so that when I boot
Thunderbird the next time, I am told that Thunderbird is not the default
client, would I like to make it so. I would, permanently. I unchecked the
box in the Microsoft Outlook Tools->Customize->Other pane that asks if I want
to make Outlook my default email application. That should be enough, but
apparently isn't.

Just this once, on this little thing, could Microsoft Corp. please relent
from its 24/7 monopoly pressure to use only its products, and respect the
fact that it is my computer, in my house, which I bought with my money, and I
have the right to choose my default email application? In other words, fix
this bug and BUG OFF!
