Hi everybody,
I am using Vuescan 8.11 and have some kind of a problem which I did not have
a couple of weeks ago:

Every two or three scans Vuescan quits working reading (or writing?) the
Buffer (at "Buffer 0%") just after the scan itself. I usually have to close
the programm completely and restart in order to do a new scan. (Normally the
scan counts up to 100%, then does the Buffer and finally does the "color". )

I am using a PC, Athlon 1,8 Mhz, 512 MB RAM and my scanner is an EPSON 3200
connected via Firewire.

Any help is apreciated,

Ignacio

I don't know what the cause is, but a possible solution is to to
click"Image-Release Memory" every so often as needed.

You might try VueScan 8.0.17. Alternatively, try to focus on what's
changed between the time it used to work and now.

If you've changed operating system versions, this might be the problem
(virtual memory settings). If you've changed VueScan versions, this might
be the problem (try upgrading to 8.0.17). If you've changed other things,
look into changing things back.

Also, try deleting vuescan.ini and scanning with all-default options
to see if the problem re-occurs.
