BT Yahoo and Windows Mail - Incoming Messages

I cannot seem to set up a Windows mail account to work properly - so
therefore want to go back to receiving and sending just from my BT Yahoo
account.

However, all my inbox is now showing in Windows Mail - can someone please
advise me how I can restore my inbox to BT Yahoo and stop new emails going to
the Windows Mail inbox?

At the moment, I have all my sent mail in my BT Yahoo account and my inbox
is on Windows Mail. As I can't send from Windows Mail, I just want to go back
to how things were! Can someone help, please? Thanks very much.

There is no way I have heard of to get the mail back onto the server without
forwarding it to yourself.
What happens when you try to send.

BTW, you can stop it from deleting mail from the server in the advanced
properties of the account, a regular question here.
