Does anyone know about a Bluetooth software (Like, Toshiba's BT Stack) for
vista that doesn't have an evaluation period ?
I've heard that WIDCOMM is no good...

Hi,

As long as you're not trying to use a profile that doesn't come with the
Windows Bluetooth stack, I would recommend using that. I have been using it
for my mouse, keyboard, and phone without any major problems (one or two
times the device "disappeared," but a reboot fixed it)

The latest version of the toshiba bluetooth stack works well on my Vista x64
and x86 machines. I am using it with a Level1 Class1 BT2 USB adapter and it
has no evaluation period. I have also installed the same on my Sony
notebook and it works fine.

And WIDCOMM is indeed, not as stable as Toshiba on Vista currently. I
installed the widcomm stack on one of my machines (Vista x64) and it crashes
itself almost everytime I use it (especially the drivers are not signed and
A2DP doesn't work with the widcomm......)
