Once again I was charged £2.00 for NOT making any phone calls this month ... apparently I get this charge because I have caller ID activated, so, to not be charged for having caller ID I need to make 2 or more calls a month. Pass that by me again.

What the hell has "caller ID" have to do with making a phone call? Someone calls me, I see who it is, well sometimes.

I'm sorry, but, go fly a kite ... I don't want your phone line, however I have to have one or I don't get broadband ... go fly a bigger kite.

I have now sent BT a bill for "flat floor space rental" for the pace their phone line takes up in my flat for £15.45 ... just happens, coincidentally, to be the same amount that BT charge me for their line rental. :)

If they refuse to pay I'll send the bailiffs in.

This £2.00 deception is better than "Free" & "Unlimited" ...

What V_R said, I need a 'BT' line for my ISP as well but I rent that line directly from the ISP, I have no admin contact with BT at all. In fact the only contact I ever have is when there's a problem at the BT exchange and I sometimes talk to a BT 'engineer'.

I pay my ISP £11.32 a calendar month, no extras, no hidden deceptions, just a straight, flat, fee. Including VAT.

All I ever use the landline for is Fax; Broadband and 0800 numbers.

There should be, it still uses the BTW network, if you can get Infinity you can get anything. :)

With Sky.:D
Fibre Optic BB.:D:D
BT could not offer us Fibre Optic, But Sky could!:thumb:
Oh did i say i'm with Sky & a happy customer?

Sky = Rupert Murdoch.

I would rather eat my own vomit than put money in Murdoch's pocket.

Still, this is a democracy, freedom of choice, etc, know wot I mean? :)

What's that you say? Sport? Ha! You can take your sport and.....

Pubs that have signs for Sky TV and sport in the window I bypass.

Right, got that off me chest, don't get me started on BT, ;)

How can that be? BT and Sky both use the Openreach network to deliver fibre optic broadband. If you live in an area with coverage you should be able to receive fibre from both providers. In fact its Openreach themselves that install all fibre connections not Sky or BT. ;)
