BSOD

Got my first BSOD tonight with XP. Stop Error 0X0000008E, with 4 other
error codes in parentheses. Where do I begin to straighten this out and
figure out what's what?

0x0000008E: KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

A kernel mode program generated an exception which the
error handler didn't catch. These are nearly always
hardware compability issues (which sometimes means a
driver issue or a need for a BIOS upgrade).

Helped, indeed. I read the Microsoft pages earlier and did some cleanup,
looking for the offensive driver. I haven't found it yet, but will see
what's what over time.
