I have been getting BSOD and there are 2 files that are causing it;

C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\win32k.sys

bug is KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
caused by address win32k.sys+152c39

Address in stack is ntoskrnl.exe+77ec

Any solutions?

What is the full bug check code?

Does the error occur during or after booting the computer?

Does the error occur in safe mode?

What is your computer make and model?

full bug check code is 0x1000008e

this happened when the system is running

NA

this is a Acer notebook

I found a hotfix and applied it and waiting to see whether I will still get BSOD

You have only provided part of the bug check code. You have omitted the
parameters, which can be informative.

An example is
0x0000008E (0xC0000005, 0x8052E797, 0xF7A7C5C4, 0X00000000)
<Sometimes is a file is named here>

Background information on Stop Error message 0x8E
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms794023.aspx

0x0000008E: KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
A kernel mode program generated an exception which the error handler
didn't catch. These are nearly always hardware compatibility issues
(which sometimes means a driver issue or a need for a BIOS upgrade).

will this help?

Error code 1000008e, parameter1 c0000005, parameter2 bf952c39, parameter3
b05c4c00, parameter4 00000000.

parameter1 c0000005 is telling you that something. probably a software
driver. is trying to access memory it should not. What are you
attempting to do when the error ocurs? A game perhaps?

Have a look in the System and Application logs in Event Viewer for
Errors and Warnings and post copies here. Don't post any more than 48
hours ago.

You can access Event Viewer by selecting Start, Control Panel,
Administrative Tools, and Event Viewer. When researching the meaning
of the error, information regarding Event ID, Source and Description
are important.

A tip for posting copies of Error Reports! Run Event Viewer and double
click on the error you want to copy. In the window, which appears is a
button resembling two pages. Click the button and close Event
Viewer. Now start your message (email) and do a paste into the body of
the message. Make sure this is the first paste after exiting from
Event Viewer.
