Give us the basic details of the BSOD. If the blue screnn is refering to the
CDROM then try another CDROM if available or change the CD to a different
IDE channel. the later is a long shot.

I reformatted my computer and am trying to reinstall Windows 2000. I
CANNOT boot installation from the CD. I have to use the 4 floppy disks.

When I get into Windows 2000 setup, I hit <enter> to continue with
installation of Windows 2000. Immediately following, I get the BSOD
(blue screen of death). It gives me the rundown of "yadda yadda". I
have a strong feeling it's a failure of CD-ROM not working. Before
though, It has worked. I have installed Windows 2000 with it awhile ago
and was working perfectly before I reformatted.

I'm running out of ideas. Any suggestions?

P.S. I have considered installing Win98 and upgrading from there.
Please give your thoughts. =)
