Three times in the last month, the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) has
appeared, and my computer has successfully rebooted afterward without
problem.

The codes that are shown are BC Code 1000000a, BCP1 999154A 64, BCP2
0000001C, BCP3 00000001, BCP4804FC9AD, OSVer 5_1_2600, SP 3_0, Product
256_1

Can anyone advise me how best to fix or correct this problem?

Thanks,

Rob

This is the same as a 0x0a stop error, i.e. an IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
error. These are the usual courses of action to take during these errors:

You receive a "Stop 0x0000000A" error message in Windows XP

Typically, this is caused by a bad device driver, but not always. I
don't know if you have your kernel mini-dumps enabled in XP, but if they
aren't get it enabled. Then download this software:

Blue screen of death (STOP error) information in dump files.

This will help you analyze which driver is causing this problem for you.
