BSOD after usb bootup

Hi,

Did anyone encounter before the following senario:

1) Boot up to DOS using USB thumbdrive
2) Reset unit and bootup to windows XPe (with the USB thumbdrive inserted)
3) BSOD 0x0000007B error

Anyone have ideas on how to solve this problem?

This is probably the most common problem encountered. Try using
groups.google.com to find one of the myriad discussions on it.

XP/XPe doesn't support USB boot. The USB driver is loaded much later in the
boot process. There is someone looking into a work around for generic USB
device http://www.winusb.de/tutorial_en.html, you can see some of Dietmar's
post in this NG. The other solution is to use M-Systems uDOC.
