Hi all,
BSOD 7B (0x80699bb0,0xc0000034,0x00000000,0x0000000)
(Inaccesible Boot Device if I am not mistaken)
Vista Enterprise Edition
HP DeskTop system
IDE 40GB Disk
Hardware Diagnostics:
Memory Tests - Clean
Seatools - Clean
Here are the steps I followed:
1. Booted into Vista RE (From original DVD)
2. Select the Language
3. Select the Repair option
Installation is detected
Automatic Startup repair states that it was unable to fix the problem.
4. Select Command Prompt:
Chkdsk c: /F
Picks up errors but ends with Failed to transfer messages status 50.
sfc /scannow
Stopped by Windows Protection.
Restart.
Problem Persists
7. Followed http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927391
Results does not change.
Can someone shed some light on my predicament?
I need to recover and use the current installation.
All help will be gratly appreciated.
