Okay.. I read this and was like.. yea I might try this (I might still try
this).. but I dont have the correct version of norton ghost.. SOO I'll pass
it on here and ask for some views.. Could it work y/n.. Would it work (I
figgure some of U might be ex-staff from hard drive tech firms) or maybee
someoen wants to try it and say yea it works..

Yeah try it. Yes it can work, normally you can AT LEAST DOUBLE THE SIZE in

It's false. They are merely screwing up their partition table. It's true
that some drive makers have shipped drives where not all sides of all
platters are used but changing those would require at the minimum a
firmware change.

Yea.. My main thought at first was that they were probably just screwing
the fat table and making the system "show" that it had more than it actually
had. But seeing 2-3 other people say it and knowing the way that other
hardware mfgr's do I figgured that it could be possible (but I didnt put
much hope). .. I might still try it as I do have a semi-spare drive
:)
