I have huge collection of PowerPoint templates on windows 2000 machine.
On one windows 2000 machine I can easily see all those 1000 templates in
windows explorer by setting view to thumb nail views. But on another windows
2000 machine it doesn't work all I just see is dummy icons for every
template. I tis frustrating to use PowerPoints preview to browse all 1000s
of templates. What setting do I need to change?
Is there any free Template browser/viewer?

How long have you waited for the thumbnails to be generated? You see, the
first time you view a folder in "thumbnail" mode, the system has to generate
the thumbnails. If the system doesn't have much oomph, or memory it may
take quite awhile. Test it this way. Create a new folder and then copy and
paste a few of the templates to it, and then try viewing them as thumbnails
in that very small folder.
