browsing problem

I can get on the net with mirc, I can do email but I cannot browse. No
matter what page I try, I get
The page cannot be displayed
Can someone tell me how to fix this? I tried doing a repair install, with my
xp disk but that didn't help.

Try checking that your browser hasn't been blocked by you internet
security/firewall software.
I have found Norton blocking IE6 after it detected a virus.
