Have windows 98 outlook express 6 and when I go to my
comcast home page to type something in search it's blank
and then a moment later the letters show. If I hilight it
to delete it takes a minute first to hilight then longer
to delete ( if at all)

In IE go to Tools...Internet Options...Content tab....Autocomplete, then click Clear Forms. This will remove all such entries in all boxes.
