My default browser used to be Internet Explorer. I shifted to Mozilla Firefox
and had been on it for a while. but due to lack of available support I would
like to go back to the Internet Explorer. I know I have it in the system
because I saw it in my Program Files. but I was unable to see it in the
Add/Remove Programs. I don't even know if my copy is up to date. Question:
What do I need to do to get an update copy of the Internet Explorer. I have
the license of my WinXP Home Edition OS? Also let me know how to change
Default Browser.

Thanks

Hi,
Internet Explorer should still be there- it may be hiding.

Try these steps:

Control Panel> Add/remove programs> Set program access and defaults> Working
with either Microsoft or Custom, enable access to IE and make it the default
browser.

Control Panel> Add/remove programs> Add/remove Windows components> Put a
check by Internet Explorer> click on next.

Control Panel> Display> Desktop> Customize Desktop> Check Internet Explorer.

If you haven't been installing updates, be sure to visit Windows Update. IE>
Tools> Windows Update.

Hope this helps,
Don
